Donations
Your donations will be greatly appreciated and help us reach our target for a permanent building for a Gurdwara in Bow Lane.
Donate to the Langar Hall Project
Langar is at the heart of Sikh practice a free community kitchen where everyone, regardless of faith or background, is welcome to sit side by side and share a warm, vegetarian meal.
At Preston Gurdwara, we serve free Langar every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm, prepared with love by volunteers in the spirit of seva (selfless service). Each week, hundreds of people walk through our doors to enjoy this meal, find a sense of belonging, and experience true equality in action.
Why We’re Raising Funds?
Our Langar Hall is currently being refurbished to better serve the growing community.
This includes:
- A modernised dining space for a safer and more comfortable environment
- Upgraded kitchen facilities to support fresh, hygienic, large-scale cooking
- Improved accessibility and seating for visitors of all ages and abilities
- Creating a welcoming space that reflects Sikh values of unity, equality, and compassion
But we can’t do this alone, we need your support.
Every Donation Counts
Whether you give £5 or £500, your generosity helps us build a Langar Hall that can serve generations to come. Your donation goes directly toward materials, equipment, and essential work that ensures our Gurdwara remains a pillar of the community.
